Unmoored is a collection of experimental body prints that explore the themes of disconnection, uncertainty, and the ensuing growth borne out of such psychological states. Using contrasting positive and negative spaces, the artworks depict the sensation of a body in limbo, shifting between phases, always in search of stability.

Unmoored is part of the 'Piece of Mind' Artist Spotlight Series by Prospect's Studio C. In this series, funded in part by the City of Calgary's Arts and Culture Microgrant Program, we work with emerging artists to explore the topics of inclusion, community, mental health, and wellness in hopes of breaking societal stigmas and highlighting stories of overcoming barriers through art.

Artist will be in attendance, and light refreshments and snacks will be served.

• Outdoor fire pits, music, and decorations

• Music and dance performances from Springboard Performance and Fluid Fest

• Spooky Prairie Shindig with Alexandra Writers’ Centre Society

• For the kids: costumes welcome, indoor trick or treating and scavenger hunt from Quest Theatre for Kids

• For the adults: Tarot card readings, personal spell station, cash bar

• Open doors to almost all cSPACE community members
