The organization actively involves individuals and groups in leveraging their skills, knowledge, culture, and values to contribute to a stronger and healthier society.
Committed to working with all people, with a particular focus on equity-deserving individuals and communities, AHC aims to enhance their capacity to address the determinants of well-being and prosperity. Guided by core values like inclusion, collaboration, participation, personal development/empowerment, and innovation/excellence, AHC strives to create a sustainably equitable society.
AHC’s diverse community capacity-building efforts, tailored to various age groups and backgrounds, reach across Greater Edmonton and select northern Alberta locations. Through these programs and supports, AHC actively contributes to building a healthier and more resilient community for individuals and families of all backgrounds.
